【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesthebasicmethodandrequirementsfordesign,construction,testingandmarkingofnon-electricalequipmentintendedforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheresinairofgas,vapour,mistanddusts.Suchatmospherescanalsoexistinsidetheequipment.Inaddition,theexternalatmospherecanbedrawninsidetheequipmentbynaturalbreathingproducedasaresultoffluctuationsintheequipment'sinternaloperatingpressure,and/ortemperature.ThisEuropeanStandardisvalidforatmosphereshavingpressuresrangingfrom0,8barto1,1barandtemperaturesrangingfrom-20℃to+60℃.,i.e.equipmentbuilttothisEuropeanStandardwillbesatisfactorytoanyserviceconditionswithinthisrangeunlessotherwisespecified.NOTE1TherequirementsofthisEuropeanStandardcanalsobehelpfulforthedesign,construction,testingandmarkingofequipmentintendedforuseinatmospheresoutsidethevalidityrangestatedabove.Inthiscasehowever,theignitionhazardassessment,ignitionprotectionprovided,additionaltesting(ifnecessary),manufacturer'stechnicaldocumentationandinstructionstotheuser,shouldclearlydemonstrateandindicatetheequipment'ssuitabilityfortheconditionsitmayencounter.Itshouldalsoberecognizedthatchangesintemperatureandpressurecanhaveasignificantinfluenceonignitability.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcoveradditionalmarkingforequipmentintendedforuseoutsidethescopeofitsvaliditysuchasanoxygen-enrichedatmosphere.ThisEuropeanStandardisalsoapplicableforthedesign,construction,testingandmarkingofcomponents,protectivesystems,devicesandassembliesoftheseproductswhichhavepossibleignitionsourcesandareintendedforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres.Itspecifiestherequirementsforthedesignandconstructionofequipment,intendedforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheresinconformitywithallcategoriesofGroupIandII.ThisEuropeanStandardcanbesupplementedbyEuropeanStandardsconcerningthespecifictypesofignitionprotection.NOTE2ThesearegivenbelowEN13463-2,Non-electricalequipmentforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres-Protectionbyflowrestrictingenclosure(fr)EN13463-3,Non-electricalequipmentforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres-Protectionbyflameproofenclosure(d)EN13463-5,Non-electricalequipmentforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres-Protectionbyconstructionalsafety(c)EN13463-6,Non-electricalequipmentforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres-Protectionbycontrolofignitionsources(b)EN60079-2,Electricalapparatusforexplosivegasatmospheres-Pressurisedenclosures"p"(ProtectionbypressurizationdescribedinEN60079-2canalsobeusedfornon-electricalequipment.)EN13463-8,Non-electricalequipmentforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres-Protectionbyliquidimmersion(k)EN50303,GroupI,categoryM1equipmentintendedtoremainfunctionalinatmospheresendangeredbyfiredampand/orcoaldust.
